                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 4406
                   JERSEY PIKE, BEING ON THE SOUTHEAST LINE OF
                   JERSEY PIKE NORTHEAST OF BONNY OAKS DRIVE, FROM
                   R-1 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO C-2 CONVENIENCE
                   COMMERCIAL ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 4406 Jersey Pike, being
                on the southeast line of Jersey Pike northeast of
                Bonny Oaks Drive.  Part of lot 37, block 5, of the
                Carr Farm, as shown by plat of record in plat book
                1, page 6, ROHC; being the property described in
                deed book 2684, page 899, ROHC.  Tax Map No.
                129K-B-25.
               
               
         from R-1 Residential Zone to C-2 Convenience Commercial Zone.
        
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         required by law.
